Dr. Anna Bowers
Dr. Anna Bowers was born and raised in Louisville, Kentucky. After graduating high school, she moved to California to attend Stanford University where she received her Bachelor's degree with honors in Biology and a minor in Chinese as well as her Master's degree in Biology. She then moved to San Francisco where she completed her dental training at the University of the Pacific – Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry in 2020. After graduating dental school, she worked in a private practice in the city for one year prior to returning to the University of the Pacific for her advanced endodontic training and Masters degree in Dentistry – Endodontics. Dr. Bowers is a board-eligible and a member of the American Association of Endodontics.
As a clinician, she believes in providing patient–centered care and practicing evidence–based dentistry. Communication with patients is key to understanding their unique treatment needs and she strives to provide a calm and comfortable environment for all patients. Outside of English, she is able to converse with patients in Mandarin Chinese regarding treatment options. Dr. Bowers currently lives in San Mateo with her husband and her two cats. Outside of patient–care, she enjoys traveling and reading books. On weekends, you can often catch her exploring Bay Area tide pools.
